Since the early 1980s, ARI valves have been marketed in South Korea by Dong Hoo, a trading partner who is still active today. ARI's dynamically growing range of products and services - moving from standardised valves to engineered solutions - made it mandatory to establish its own subsidiary in this highly industrialised country. In June 2022, the ARI company ARI-Armaturen Korea Ltd. was finally founded. The headquarters is located in Namyangju. The city in the province of Gyeonggi-do borders South Korea's capital Seoul to the west.

ARI-Korea has logistical backup, performs light service work, aligns ARI with the requirements of a wide variety of application solutions, and performs international project coordination. In addition, ARI-Korea is the first point of contact for large-scale plant engineering. The region is in a leading position worldwide in so-called EPC (engineering procurement contracting).
